Ahhmgt is seeking a Radiology/CT technician to perform radiologic and ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients under radiologist supervision. The role includes positioning, exposure control, contrast media assistance, and tomography work in a clinical setting.
Required licenses include LSRT and ARRT, with BLS/CPR certification within 90 days. Expect collaboration with physicians, strict safety protocols, and ongoing maintenance of equipment and patient care standards.
Rad/CT Tech is responsible for performing radiological examinations as required by staff physician’s orders and under the direction of the Radiologist. Performs ultrasound procedures to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Performs various types of diagnostic X-ray procedures, adjusts x-ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examinations utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations. Maintains and monitors patient environment, adheres to safety procedures and contributes to the security and maintenance of the unit. May be required to perform various types of diagnostic X-ray procedures and produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical area.
