Job summary

Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT seeks a Seasonal Assistant Director of Racquet Sports to support daily court operations, teach private/group lessons, and help run member events.

Preferred candidates have racquet sports or country club experience, 4.5+ tennis ability, and basic computer skills. Flexible scheduling includes evenings and weekends; healthcare and retirement benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in racquet sports or a country club setting preferred.
• Playing ability at 4.5 level or higher preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, POS systems, and membership databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Racquet Sports with daily department operations on and off the court.
• Provide pro shop support, answer phones, communicate with members, and maintain facilities.
• Deliver private and group lessons, clinics, and camps.
• Assist in organizing member events, tournaments, and social programming.
• Maintain courts and facility presentation; learn pickleball instruction as needed.
• Attend meetings, events and tournaments; use club software systems.
• Support scheduling including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
