Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US
• 5-8 years of substantial experience as Racquet Sports Director or similar leadership role
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage daily operations in a club, resort, or multi-sport environment
• Strong track record in developing and structuring racquet sports programs
• Business-oriented mindset with capacity to grow activity and revenue streams
• Player background and coaching in tennis, pickleball and padel preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for international, high-end clientele
• Highly organized with scheduling, staffing and logistics management
• English required; Spanish a plus
• Professional presence aligned with luxury hospitality standards
• Team player in multicultural environments

Responsibilities

We are recruiting an experienced Tennis & Racquet Sports Director to lead the strategy, operations, and commercial development of a prestigious club in the Caribbean region.

This is a senior leadership position combining team management, financial ownership, business development, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a premium racquet sports experience across tennis, pickleball, and padel.

RESPONSABILITIES & MISSIONS

Strategic Leadership & Operations

• Define and implement the club’s overall racquet sports strategy
• Lead all day-to-day operations, ensuring consistently high standards of service, organization, and delivery
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of coaches and operational staff
• Establish clear objectives, performance standards, schedules, and operating procedures

Financial & Commercial Performance

• Own the department’s budget, revenue targets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Develop and execute commercial initiatives to increase participation, court utilization, membership engagement, and profitability
• Identify new revenue opportunities across coaching, academies, clinics, tournaments, events, retail, sponsorships, and partnerships
• Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular performance reports to senior management
• Apply a strong sales mindset to convert inquiries, retain players, and grow participation across all programs

Program Development

• Design and manage a comprehensive, high-quality program for junior and adult players of all levels
• Develop private coaching, group clinics, academies, leagues, tournaments, camps, and signature events
• Continuously assess and improve the offering based on member feedback, participation trends, and market opportunities
• Ensure consistent coaching standards and a clear player-development pathway

Premium Member & Guest Experience

• Build strong, lasting relationships with members, guests, partners, and key stakeholders
• Create an engaging and community-driven environment aligned with the expectations of an international luxury clientele
• Act as the visible ambassador of racquet sports within the club
• Handle member feedback and service issues with professionalism, discretion, and a solutions-oriented approach

Coaching Excellence

• Maintain an active and credible on-court presence through selected private lessons, clinics, and high-profile events
• Supervise coaching quality and ensure consistency across the team
• Mentor coaches and support their ongoing professional development

• Strong experience in developing and structuring racquet sports programs

• Player background and coaching experience : tennis (pickleball, and padel ideally)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, suited to an international, high-end clientele
• Highly organized with the ability to manage schedules, staffing, and logistics efficiently
