Job summary

YKK AP America Inc. is seeking a Forklift Driver / Material Handler in Georgia.

The role safely operates forklifts and paint department equipment to move, locate, stack, and count materials, supporting loading/unloading and inventory organization to ensure efficient and safe material handling. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in a manufacturing setting, strong reading/writing/counting abilities, and good communication as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED (minimum).
• Must have at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and count.
• Must have demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to be a team player.
• Must have the ability to learn the job duties within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the supervisor.

Summary:

The Forklift Driver / Material Handler is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other Paint Department equipment to move, locate, stack, and count materials. This role supports Paint Department operations by loading and unloading orders, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are handled efficiently and safely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepares material for processing

• Verifies order counts and pallet counts for accuracy

At YKK AP America Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $18.57-$22.60, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Travel Requirements:

The travel required for this position is 1%.
