The Pro Group is seeking drivers in the Waltham, MA area to operate light vehicles under 26,000 lbs GVW, delivering or picking up merchandise. You will load/unload packages up to 100 lbs, maintain a clean work area and follow company safety standards.

A current DOT/medical card is required, and you will report issues and keep logs per regulations. This full-time role offers a great growth opportunity within a growing company and requires adherence to all policies, procedures and safety

Competenze

The Pro Group is a leader in the construction supply and equipment rental industry and is looking for drivers. Drive a light vehicle, such as a truck or van, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise. Loading and unloading vehicle of packages up to 100lbs. A current medical examination card is required. Great opportunity to work for a growing company. What You'll Do

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
• Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
• Drive vehicles with capacities under 26,000 pounds to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
• Tow small towable equipment
