Job summary

Supermicro Computer Inc is seeking Test Engineers to join the Rack Solutions team, who can perform complete server configuration check, performance test, packing check, and are familiar with Linux OS for server, switch, add-on card test, etc. The role requires Linux shell scripting and knowledge of server hardware datasheets.

Salary range $80,000 - $100,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience and strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
• 1–2 years of relevant experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills at Linux server system testing and debugging
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Dedication, Job responsibility are must for this job
• Experience with rack-level deployment is a plus
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and able to generate test report

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review L10/L11 test results to control server quality/reliability from Production and Warehouse
• Manage quality control procedures and follow up issues from L10/L11 testing to improve product quality
• Support and coordinate with LAB and other engineering teams to improve server qualities
• Take ownership provide feedback and take initiative to drive to improve server qualities
• Work with cross-functional teams and take initiative to set quality standards for new products
• In-depth knowledge on maintaining the quality of the product testing skills
