Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to act as the technical focal point for rack-scale system SW/FW for CSP engagements. You will guide architecture, fabric management, and recovery, enabling fleet-scale deployment and operation.

Lead cross-functional teams, drive feedback into decisions, and ensure integration readiness across hardware and software domains. You will influence multi-component firmware and software strategies, with emphasis on health telemetry, error

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in system software, firmware, or large-scale distributed systems engineering.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
Deep understanding of rack-scale software challenges: multi-component coordination, error propagation, health monitoring, and serviceability.
Experience with fabric management software, cluster management, or system-level orchestration frameworks.
Understanding of firmware architectures and update lifecycle management.
Knowledge of error handling in distributed systems and fleet-level observability.

Responsibilities

Drive rack-scale SW/FW architecture alignment across CSP engagements including fabric management and serviceability features.
Lead technical work streams with CSP engineering teams on rack-scale system software and recovery operations.
Capture CSP feedback and translate into architecture decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reflect customer operational requirements in software and firmware.
Identify cross-CSP patterns and drive improvements in documentation, tooling, and test strategy.
