Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local store facilities team. You will maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment, using hand and power tools to complete assignments while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires EPA refrigerant handling certification and 2 years’ experience in commercial HVAC/R, plus a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits and world-class training are provided.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification with 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal) as required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Use the work order system to manage repair orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines and Walmart safety policy.
