Job summary

Pala Band of Mission Indians in California is seeking a part-time Booth Attendant for the Fox Raceway. You are the first point of contact for guests and provide friendly service at entry with accuracy in cash handling.

You will process payments with Square, issue receipts, help guests with directions, maintain the waiver filing system, and balance the cash drawer under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Maintain a drug-free workplace as a condition of employment.
• Able to pass a fingerprint-based background check.
• Indian preference applies; preference to Pala Tribal Members.

Responsibilities

• Accept payments from customers on Square iPad.
• Provide receipts to customers.
• Provide directions in a helpful and positive manner.
• Maintain Raceway Waiver filing system.
• Daily log of wristbands sold.
• Open, close, and balance cash drawer.
• Count and verify daily intake at end of shift.
• Perform daily cash drops.
• Assist Operations Supervisor as needed.
