Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking an assembler to produce components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will study instructions, read blueprints, prepare tools, and assemble using templates, ensuring correct fit and secure fastening while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

  • HS graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with controls and instrumentation.
  • Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred.
  • Experience using mechanical inspection or power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists.
  • Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assists with inventory, packaging, shipping/receiving and general facility maintenance as needed.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • May train less-experienced assemblers on processes and procedures.

Position Summary:

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Good working knowledge of computer skills needed.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Quality oriented and ability to detect any issues within the assembly process.

Position Qualifications:
Education:

  • HS Graduate or equivalent preferred
Experience:
  • 2+ years of prior experience working with controls and instrumentation.
  • Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred.
  • Experience using mechanical inspection or power tools preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Activity:
Constantly - 6+ hours : Stand, Walk, Twist/Turn, Stoop/Bend, Squat, Kneel, Reach above shoulder

Compensation Range
$19.59 - $26.28
The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Fox reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
