Job description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust R-based data pipelines, analytical models, and reporting solutions
• Build and optimize statistical models, machine learning workflows, and predictive analytics using R
• Develop reusable R packages, functions, and libraries to improve team productivity
• Integrate R solutions with enterprise data platforms (SQL, cloud-based data warehouses, APIs)
• Write clean, well-documented, and production-grade R code following best practices
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on R development standards

Data Analysis & Insights

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable analytical and statistical solutions
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data wrangling using Tidyverse, data.table, and related packages
• Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using R Shiny, ggplot2, and Plotly
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and validation throughout the analysis lifecycle

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for multiple internal and external stakeholders including business leaders, product teams, and data engineers
• Translate analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Present results and recommendations to senior leadership with confidence and clarity
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, BI teams, and business analysts to align on requirements and deliverables
• Manage expectations, prioritize competing demands, and communicate project status proactively
