Job summary

Hadrian in Los Angeles seeks a hands-on R&D Welding Technician to build and qualify weld processes for a new capability ramp, working hands-on with hand welding, orbital tube welding, and robotic welding cells in a fast-moving R&D environment.

Ideal candidates have aerospace/defense welding experience, can read drawings and GD&T, and contribute to qualification/test documentation. Relocation support and equity are available.

Qualifications

The Role
Hadrian is ramping new welding capability at FX, and this role is central to getting there. As an R&D Welding Technician, you\'ll build and qualify the weld processes and hardware, qualification test articles and large structural assemblies, that this capability launch depends on, working hands-on with hand welding, orbital tube welding, and robotic welding cells in a fast-moving R&D environment.

What You\'ll Do

• Fabricate and weld qualification test articles and large structural assemblies in support of a new welding capability ramp.
• Perform hand welding using both laser and arc processes on first-of-a-kind hardware.
• Set up and execute orbital tube welding operations to spec.
• Operate and support robotic welding cells, including setup and troubleshooting.

What Will Set You Apart

• Prior experience on qualification-article or first-article builds.
