Job summary

GITI Tire USA Ltd is seeking an R&D Tire Engineering Technician to provide technical and logistical support to engineers and chemists in the R&D Center. You will handle inventory, shipping, test prep, and light engineering work to advance tire development.

This role requires hands-on work with equipment, materials, and test sites, with occasional travel to track testing locations. A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational school diploma required
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and storage of R&D tires and wheels at on-site facilities
• Procure and maintain tools, materials, and equipment for R&D projects
• Conduct and support experimental tire builds
• Manage shipping and receiving for the R&D Center
• Assist engineers with tire field testing and track programs
• Support data collection and reporting of test results
• Ensure documentation and records are kept up to date
