Job summary

Teknor Apex in Leominster, MA, seeks an extrusion technician to operate and maintain multilayer single-screw extrusion lines, producing prototype parts and delivering process feedback to materials engineers.

The role requires 4–5 years in plastics extrusion, and an associate’s degree in science or technology; responsibilities include following SOPs, data entry, and occasional support for injection molding or testing. Training and safety compliance are emphasized.

These relationships are what allow us—together—to deliver customized compound solutions and help our customers create better products.“Manufacturing is a team sport and we work together to achieve our goals.” ~Jon Fain**Join the team behind our custom compounds.****Essential Duties and Responsibilities: **Extrusion-Responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of multilayer single-screw extruder lines to produce prototype parts and provide processability feedback to materials engineers on existing and new thermoplastic compounds.Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Assists with coverage on the 40mm pilot compounding line twin screw extruder after properly trained.
