Antares in Torrance, CA, develops mass-producible microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space use. We seek an R&D Technician to own prototyping, machining, assembly, testing, and documentation in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality.

This role includes off-site travel for critical tests and close collaboration with engineering on manufacturability and process improvements. You will lead a team of technicians, drive best-practice processes, and ensure alignment

Formación

• 5+ years in a high-performance manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Understanding of aerospace-grade production/quality standards.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate prototypes and build/test systems following specifications and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve designs through rapid iteration.
• Participate in design reviews focusing on manufacturability and resources.
• Spec, source, and commission equipment; report status.
• Lead and mentor technicians to foster technical excellence and accountability.
• Develop and document best practices for machining, fabrication, assembly, and inspection.
• Support critical testing and validation, including off-site travel.
