The Credit Index is presenting a Senior Tax Associate, R&D role, fully remote in the United States. You will own R&D credit engagements, perform Section 174/174A analyses, and lead virtual client interviews to produce technical reports and calculations. You will mentor junior staff while juggling multiple engagements.

Preferred credentials include CPA/EA progress and IRS representation experience. Strong Excel, Alteryx, and Power BI proficiency are valued as part of the workflow.

Formación

• 3–5 years of hands-on R&D tax experience
• Experience with software or biotech clients preferred
• CPA or EA progress; IRS representation a plus

Responsabilidades

• Own R&D tax credit engagements and Section 174/174A analyses; conduct virtual client interviews and prepare technical reports
• Prepare and review workpapers and tax forms; perform credit calculations
• Scan financial statements for missed R&D opportunities; mentor associates and manage multiple client engagements
