Job summary

AtlasBase seeks a Senior/Staff RD Systems Integration Scientist to lead hands‑on integration of electrochemical enzymatic DNA synthesis on CMOS chips. You will bridge chemistry, surface science, microfluidics, software automation, and hardware, owning prototype testbeds and fluidic controls.

You will drive platform performance through early research to product‑facing integration, document processes, and transfer technology.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related engineering or chemistry field.
• 8+ years of industry R&D for a Master’s holder or 5+ years for a Ph.D.
• Experience leading assay‑to‑instrument translation in bio‑hardware or similar platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross‑disciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system integration of CMOS chip‑based enzymatic DNA synthesis workflows.
• Bridge chemistry, surface science, microfluidics, software automation, and hardware.
• Drive technology transfer from research to product facing integration.
• Mentor junior researchers and engineers; analyze complex experimental data.
