Qualifications

• BS in a relevant field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• 4+ years of practical software development experience, with emphasis on C++.
• Proficiency with Linux and development tools such as Visual Studio, Jira, and Perforce.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers to understand and contribute to the architecture of research software systems.
• Prototype, refine, and implement signal processing and 3D graphics algorithms in collaboration with scientists and engineers.
• Participate in benchtop and preclinical testing to validate new algorithm concepts and software features.
• Engage with customers and clinical teams to gather feedback and iteratively improve research software solutions.
• Document complex technical topics clearly and participate in cross-functional reviews to ensure quality and innovation.
