• 8+ years of personal care product development experience, including haircare, skincare, OTC, or related products.
• Strong formulation, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Innovative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Independently develop, optimize, and scale personal care formulations to meet product, cost, stability, safety, microbiological, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare required technical documentation, including batch cards, production procedures, specifications, INCI lists, C of A’s, Proteus entries, and other R&D documentation.
• Conduct lab batches, stability testing, reformulation, and product evaluations; coordinate customer samples and revisions.
• Select raw materials based on performance, cost, availability, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and supervise production scale-up and initial manufacturing batches.
• Identify and resolve formulation, stability, microbiological, and manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate laboratory and development records and meet project timelines.
• Supervise and mentor chemists and technicians as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Production, and R&D personnel.
• Stay current with new ingredients, technologies, regulations, and industry trends.

The R&D Senior Chemist is responsible for independently developing, optimizing, and scaling personal care formulations while ensuring product quality, stability, safety, cost, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing requirements are met. The position oversees formulation documentation, laboratory testing, customer samples, and production scale-up; mentors chemists and technicians; and works closely with customers, suppliers, and Production.
