Job summary

Stefanini Group in Deerfield, IL, is hiring a Research Associate for a long-term, onsite contract. The role requires strong laboratory skills and the ability to design and execute routine and non-routine experiments under GMP/QSR considerations.

You will work in a cross-functional environment, transfer lab-scale concepts to manufacturing, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3–6 years lab experience or MS with 1–2 years experience.
• Research lab experience in GMP/QSR environment, cross-functional teamwork, and independent experimentation in method development and validation.
• Strong writing, computer and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine experiments with minimal supervision.
• Select appropriate techniques and procedures to solve problems within area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (GxP, QSR).
• Scale up biomaterials from lab to manufacturing production.
• Contribute to feasibility analyses and data reporting.
