Job summary

Zeus Industrial Products in Gaston, South Carolina, seeks an R&D PTFE Extrusion Technician Level A to maintain development within a defined area of the facility. You will troubleshoot process failures, oversee extruder startup, and ensure proper documentation and transfer of new PTFE projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with PTFE extrusion, competency across materials and extrusion configurations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on trouble shooting of PTFE extrusion processes.
• Strong ability to diagnose dimensional and cosmetic defects in extruded products.
• Ability to maintain detailed process notes and records.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Run PTFE extrusion lines and oversee extruder startup.
• Troubleshoot process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain tooling and assist with transfer of new PTFE projects.
• Record best practice sheets and ensure documentation is complete daily.
