Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking an experienced R&D Process Engineer I to join our team. You will develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes to improve product quality, productivity, and cost efficiency across operations.

You will lead process-improvement initiatives, apply Lean and Six Sigma, partner with Operations, Quality, and R&D, and mentor production and engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science required.
• 5+ years’ process engineering in plastics/chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of extrusion, coating, winding and related process technologies.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, Gauge R&R, DMAIC, Lean and Six Sigma.
• Proven cross-functional project leadership and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead process-improvement initiatives across production lines.
• Develop control strategies and support capital projects.
• Mentor production and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and R&D.
