Qualifications

• Experience performing mechanical testing of materials, especially composites, polymers, honeycomb structures, adhesives, metals, or aerospace materials.
• Hands-on experience operating universal testing systems (Instron, Shimadzu, MTS) preferred.
• Familiarity with ASTM/ISO aerospace material test methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and perform testing following standard procedures.
• Collect data using balances, scales, calipers, and universal testing machines.
• Prepare reports of test data and results per procedures.
• Communicate data, findings, and issues to R&D teams.
• Maintain lab files, logs, and records for future reference.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and equipment.
