The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of industry experience and proficiency in SolidWorks, with a focus on design, documentation, and the product development lifecycle. Responsibilities include collaborating across teams to deliver quality medical devices and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Competitive compensation includes a base salary range of $165,920 - $195,200, plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience designing products in an FDA regulated industry.
• Hands-on engineering with a strong drive for learning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product design and development teams.
• Lead on-market engineering projects for the robotic platform.
• Generate engineering documentation and design specifications.

Skills

Proficiency using CAD (SolidWorks)

Mechanism design

Electro-mechanical systems

Familiarity with motion control and feedback algorithms

Understanding of design for reliability and manufacturability

Education

BS Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
