Job summary

DEKA Research & Development is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team focused on a self-administrable vaccine patch. The role blends hands-on assembly, testing, and data-driven improvement of medical components in a dynamic R&D environment.

You will perform manual/semi-automated assembly, document production data, inspect components with precision tools, and analyze results with JMP or similar software to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• General lab experience is required.
• Strong data entry and documentation skills.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a passion for R&D.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small components manually or with semi-automation.
• Document production data and processes accurately.
• Inspect components with precision tools and microscopes.
• Analyze data using JMP or other software to define specification ranges.
• Prepare reports on results and process recommendations.
• Propose parameter specs to improve quality and efficiency.
• Support development of automated data acquisition systems.
