Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, technical certificate, or relevant hands‑on experience preferred.
• Laboratory/coatings/paint/manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Interest in hands‑on batching, testing, product application, and laboratory work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and document results accurately.

• Perform coatings testing, sample preparation, and product application evaluations.
• Learn and support color matching activities.

• Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, samples, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Support raw material and laboratory supply inventory activities.
• Follow applicable safety, environmental, and laboratory procedures.

ICP Group is seeking a hands‑on R&D Laboratory Technician to support the Andover R&D facility. The site specializes in water‑based coating manufacturing, including tennis court and architectural coatings. This position works closely with R&D Chemists to prepare laboratory batches, perform testing and product applications, organize results, and support project‑related activities. The role reports to the Technical Director.
