The R&D Lab Technician is expected to produce consistent quality work with a high attention to detail and sensitivity to confidentiality.
Role and Responsibilities
- Enters formulations into Chemical Management System.
- Contacts raw material suppliers and request samples.
- Assists chemists with filling components, making labels and printing paperwork.
- Demonstrates confidentiality, moral and professional conduct at all times.
- Occasionally, with guidance, makes product at the bench.
- Stock components and lab supplies.
- Maintains lab to be clean and orderly.
- Performs general filing and office duties in support of supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED minimum.
- Organization Skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite.
- Customer Service oriented.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Capable of standing and/or bending as necessary for various duties where required.

Physical Demands
- Ability to work a minimum of fulltime hours and additional work hours/time based on company needs.
- Ability to hear, see and speak adequately (with or without accommodations) to perform the essential functions of the role.
- Hand/eye coordination is necessary to operate a computer mouse, computer keyboard, stapler.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to touch; reach with arms; grasp with fingers.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
