Job summary

Aldevron in Waltham, MA is seeking a Research & Development Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting gene-modified cell therapy technologies within a platform R&D environment. You will work closely with scientists and engineers to support technology development, workflow optimisation, and scientific innovation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, molecular biology, or related field.
• Laboratory experience through coursework, undergraduate/graduate research, or internships; basic statistics and DOE knowledge.
• Good laboratory practices and scientific methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientists and engineers on R&D activities.
• Assist with experimental design, execution, and data analysis.
• Support cell‑based application development and workflow optimisation.
• Participate in scientific problem solving and technical reporting.
