Job summary

Virbac Corporation is seeking an R&D Technician to support formulation development, process scale-up, and documentation in a hands-on laboratory setting. The role emphasizes independent task planning, equipment setup, and trouble-shooting within GMP environments.

You will contribute to material handling, batch records, and data interpretation, while collaborating with scientists to optimize dosage forms and analysis methods in a development lab. A chemistry background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving abilities and scientific mindset.
• Ability to safely operate small-scale industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of cGMP and cGDP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Demonstrates organizational skills and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Support formulation development and process development in R&D.
• Set up, operate, and maintain R&D equipment and records.
• Prepare raw materials, solutions, and QC checks for batches.
• Document data, write reports, and assist SOPs.
• Assist with equipment qualification and CAPA processes.
• Maintain laboratory and facility compliance with GMP standards.
