Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking an R&D Engineer I (P1) to support sustaining R&D initiatives for Endoscopy products. You will participate in project teams, perform benchtop tests, prototype fixtures, and analyze data to ensure products meet customer, patient, and regulatory requirements.

You will work independently to plan activities, design experiments, troubleshoot issues, and communicate results to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science or related STEM.
Strong data analysis and ability to interpret technical data.
Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Participate in product development project teams, including benchtop test development and execution, design and prototyping of test fixtures, determination of product performance specifications, test method validation, data analysis, and written and verbal communication of technical data to varied audiences.
Plan and schedule activities to meet project timelines and communicate progress.
Design and coordinate hands-on problem-solving activities through tests and experiments.
Troubleshoot new product and process issues related to design, materials or processes.
Summarize and analyze test results and draw data-driven conclusions.
Prepare standard reports to communicate results to the technical community.
Lead cross-functional projects across locations and countries with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams.
