Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a VCF Networking Data Plane Engineer to design, implement and test high-performance data plane systems for virtual networking. You will work on the NSX Data Plane for the ESX hypervisor and contribute across a collaborative engineering team with emphasis on performance, reliability and scalable architectures.

The role requires deep expertise in C/C++, Python and modern networking stacks, along with a strong track record in multi-threaded, high throughput software.

Qualifications

Must have strong grasp of virtual networking data plane design and development.
Experience with high performance, highly concurrent, scalable distributed systems.
Proven skills in C/C++, Python, and performance benchmarking.

Responsibilities

Work on NSX Data Plane for ESX hypervisor and Broadcom products.
Architect, design, implement and integrate new and enhanced features for virtual switches.
Develop reliable data plane virtualization features and test strategies.
Lead technical discussions and contribute to product performance improvements.
Collaborate with DevOps and cross-functional teams.
