The R&D Electrical Engineer under broad direction, responsible for leading and executing complex electronic and control system projects with engineers from multiple disciplines.
Pay Rate:Up to $90.00/hour, depending on experience.
Assignment Length: 12-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Responsibilities
Serves as a technical expert by coaching and developing other employees.
Implements new technologies in design of electronic systems.
Establishes best practices that incorporate Reliability, Health, Safety, and Environment concepts to guide others in analysis and design.
Ensures proper selection of empirical and analytical methods used in design verification.
Evaluates project risks and develops risk mitigation strategies.
Advises others in application of appropriate industry standards.
Significantly contributes to the Company’s Intellectual Property portfolio by delivering innovative and commercially successful solutions.
May be recognized as an authority both inside and outside of the company for providing advisory and consulting work for the organization.
Represents the Company in external professional societies and conferences.
Qualifications
