Job summary

Keysight seeks an electrical engineering intern to join the R&D team in Colorado Springs, CO. You will design PCAs for next-generation test and measurement products and own schematic design and component selection under guidance from senior engineers.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS or MS in EE/ECE with proficiency in PCA design and circuit analysis, and strong communication skills. This is a paid, full-time internship on-site for about 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in EE/ECE and related experience accepted.
• Familiarity with circuit and PCA design, component selection, and analysis.
• Experience with schematic and layout tools and with electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design PCAs for cutting-edge electronic measurement products.
• Own component selection and schematic design for PCAs under your control.
• Use simulation software to validate circuit concepts.
• Coordinate with PCA layout resources to meet design requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to incorporate requirements.
• Document designs for ongoing reference.
• Test and characterize designs to ensure they function as intended.
• Grow your EE skills and contribute to the team.
