The Detonation Science and Technology (Q-6) group is seeking a Development and Fabrication Technician to provide technical support in electrical design, fabrication, and assembly of components used in research and development experiments. The role involves agile response to prototyping requests, manufacturing complex parts from drawings and sketches, collaborating on prototype designs, and performing fabrication and assembly independently or as part of a team. For a higher-level hire, additional responsibilities include developing new procedures, recommending solutions to project challenges, and contributing to research and development solutions from design to fabrication.
Development and Fabrication Tec 3: $66,100 – $103,600 per annum.
Development and Fabrication Tec 4: $72,800 – $115,400 per annum.
Onsite in Los Alamos, NM.
Position requires Q clearance. Background investigation required. U.S. citizenship required unless in very limited circumstances.
