Indorama Ventures seeks a laboratory-focused professional to collaborate with Research Scientists on evaluating chemistries, processes, or applications for Indorama products. The position emphasizes directed experiments in a safe laboratory environment in the United States.

Requirements include a BS in Chemistry/Engineering or related field with 0–2 years of R&D lab experience, plus knowledge of surfactants and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Biochemistry, or Polymer Chemistry/Engineering required with 0-2 years related experience (R&D Lab experience preferred) - or -Associates Degree with 5+ years related experience (R&D Lab experience preferred)
• Knowledge of surfactants in laboratory or application use strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational and communications skills and presentation ability

Responsabilités

• Maintain awareness of literature and sources to stay current in functional products
• Work to complete projects in the US project pipeline
• Set up and execute laboratory work to meet internal and external customer expectations
• Analyze samples by analytical methods or applications testing
• Maintain neat notebooks and records to support patent applications
• Ensure laboratory spaces are orderly and safe and resources are properly managed
