Quality Bakery Products is seeking a motivated R&D Technologist to support development, improvement, and commercialization of bakery and sweet goods. The role covers fully baked cakes, pies, icings, glazes, toppings, batters, fillings, syrups, and emulsions, working with R&D, Operations, Quality, Sales, and Production teams.

The candidate should manage projects with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and hands-on bench-top formulation work, plus production floor support.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, Culinary Science, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent food industry experience will be considered.
• 2-5 years of experience in food manufacturing, product development, bakery operations, or related technical role preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop bakery products, icings, glazes, fillings, toppings, syrups, and emulsions.
• Plan and execute plant trials under R&D Manager guidance and document data.
• Create and maintain formulation records, batch sheets, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations and analyze product performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
