Job summary

CPS Inc. seeks an R&D Manager for Heavy-Duty Engine Oil in Virginia, Minnesota. This role requires technical leadership and management of an R&D team focused on developing innovative products. Candidates must hold an MS/PhD in a relevant field and possess over 10 years of relevant R&D experience. An MBA is a plus. The position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $175,000 and benefits including insurance, pensions, and vacation days.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in relevant field such as Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
• More than 10 years of relevant experience in a chemical R&D environment including supervisory experience.
• Successful project management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Heavy-Duty Engine Oil (HDEO) R&D team.
• Manage the R&D budget and ensure effective use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and ISO documentation.
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional groups.
