Job description

This Administrator will mainly support the end client in the transition of QuickBase platform ownership, focusing on optimizing workflows, data management, and IAM. The role requires backend expertise and a developmental mindset for future career progression.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of QuickBase experience (administration; development experience accepted)
• Knowledge of relational database design and the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment
• Familiarity with database designing processes and procedures
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration tools within QuickBase
• General knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for custom page development coding processes (professional development not required but reviewing code is needed)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data for strategy
• Good written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with technical & non-technical personnel
• Ability to operate and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced atmosphere

Responsibilities

• Ensure high performance, availability, and manage all technical aspects of QuickBase solutions
• Ongoing administration of cloud business systems focusing on no-code solutions
• User management, role assignment, and security configuration across all applications

• Establish data integrations between QuickBase and IPaaS solutions
• Backup and disaster recovery planning
• License management and cost optimization

Development Functions

• Designing and creating new applications and features
• Reviewing and interpreting business processes and creating design specifications with stakeholders and project managers
• Translating business requirements and process documentation into technical requirements, solution design, and reporting design
• Custom workflow development and automation implementation
• Developing and implementing custom pages using QuickBase API and regular functionality
• Taking ownership, investigating, and resolving complex bugs and issues with QuickBase solutions
