Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic automotive knowledge and the ability to identify problems quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year in a service department.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Ford certifications and prior Ford dealership experience are a plus.
• Strong reading, computer, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure secure operation.
• Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
