Job summary

Southlake Nissan in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform oil changes, fluid checks, and basic maintenance. You will inspect belts, filters, air levels, and gauges, and use various hand and power tools to service vehicles.

The role requires ability to identify problems quickly, knowledge of automobiles, and strong analytical and computer skills. Previous service department experience is valued and a technical degree is preferred.

Job description

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.
