Job summary

Fox Motors in Macomb, MI, announces a Quick Lube Technician opening at Fox Macomb Subaru. You will contribute to our vision of working together moving people throughout life by building trust with customers and delivering dependable service.

As a Quick Lube Technician, you perform routine maintenance such as oil and filter service, tire rotations, and light line work. No prior experience required; a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combo.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs oil and filter service, tire rotations and other light line service.
• Adheres to dealership and factory standards with efficiency and accuracy.
• Sells lubrication, safety inspection and related services.
• Drains oil from crankcase and refills.
• Replaces oil and air filters.
• Inspects vehicle fluid levels and replenishes as necessary.
• Checks tire pressure and reports any issues to supervisor.

Fox Motors has a Quick Lube Technician opening in Macomb, MI at Fox Macomb Subaru. You would contribute to our overall vision, "Working together moving people throughout life," by developing and maintaining trust with our customers that will build long-term relationships.

The Quick Lube Technician is key to ensuring customer satisfaction with our service team. As a Quick Lube Technician, you are responsible for routine maintenance, including performing oil and filter service, tire rotations and other light line service on automotive vehicles. Fox Motors is looking for a Quick Lube Technician that has a desire to grow with in the field, is customer-focused and has a drive to perform.

Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Sells lubrication, safety inspection, and other related services.
• Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
• Replaces oil and air filters.
• Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces, or replenishes as necessary.
• Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.
• Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• No prior experience or training.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
