Job summary

Cadillac of Las Vegas, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking a Quick Lube Tech to perform routine maintenance and basic automotive services with a strong focus on customer service. You will work with the service team to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.

The role welcomes associates at the associate level, requires a valid driver’s license, and offers full-time hours with Monday–Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, MVR review, and drug screening.
• Previous automotive, quick-lube, or mechanical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, fluid inspections, tire checks, and other basic maintenance services.
• Inspect vehicles and report any recommended repairs or maintenance needs to the service team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines.
• Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and coworkers.

Job Description

Summary

The Quick Lube Tech is responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic automotive services while delivering a high level of customer service. This position works closely with the service team to ensure vehicles are serviced safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer and dealership standards.

• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines.
• Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and coworkers.
• Previous automotive, quick-lube, or mechanical experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems.
• Ability to perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire inspections, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance services.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and willingness to learn.

Compensation:

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Monday through Saturday availability
• Sundays off
