Job summary

Andean Chevrolet in the United States is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to join our winning team. GM experience is preferred but not required, and we offer the opportunity to earn while you learn.

You will inspect, maintain and repair vehicles, perform oil changes and tire rotations, diagnose basic problems, and assist in planning repairs. Must provide own tools and have a valid driver’s license; 1 year of Lube Technician experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Lube Technician required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 1 year as a Lube Technician.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Must provide own tools & toolbox.
• Perform multi-point inspection.
• Recommend services based on findings from a thorough inspection.
• Inspect fluid levels.
• Check air pressure of tires and replace tires as needed.
• Perform 4-wheel alignment on Hunter equipment.
• Execute fluid flushes.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspection on new cars and replace oil and air filters.

Job Purpose

To inspect, maintain, and repair automobiles that run on electricity, gasoline, or alternative fuels like ethanol. Execute basic care maintenance such as tire rotations and oil changes, diagnose complex problems, and plan and execute vehicle repairs.
