Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is assisting a dedicated community health organization in Long Island City, NY to hire a full-time Family Medicine Physician. The role delivers comprehensive primary care across pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in clinic settings and partner sites.

The physician will supervise advanced practice providers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to health equity and preventive care initiatives within the community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine; active DEA registration.
• Active, unrestricted New York State Medical License and NYS Medicaid enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care across pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
• Perform well-care exams, physicals, and gynecological care.
• Diagnose conditions, write prescriptions, and discuss treatment plans with patients.
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants per collaborative practice agreements.
• Coordinate care with specialists, case management, behavioral health, and community resources.
• Participate in rotated call coverage, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
