Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional to support a large tile manufacturing operation. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while troubleshooting PLCs, analog/digital signals, and network communications.

You will lead projects, manage preventive work, and assist with SOP development to train teammates. A background in industrial electronics and PLC training is highly valued in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience; electrical code knowledge.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance and 2+ years electrical experience.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a manufacturing plant.

• Lead projects and manage PMs, work orders, and inspections.

Primary Objective

Performs a variety of electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair, and/or distribution of electrical energy. Installs, maintains, and replaces electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment.

Major Function And Scope

• Basic PLCs lay out and trouble shoot of analogic/digital signals and network communication.
• Inspect and maintain the safety devices related to the process equipment.
• Complete basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuit modifications.
• Ability to lead projects and complete successfully.
• Set up basic VFD/DRIVERSs parameters and troubleshoot alarms.
• Ensures assigned area and satellite shop area are clean and organized.
• Provide the supervisor a list of parts required to complete tasks.
• Prioritize activities for assigned areas (PMs/Work Orders/Inspections).
• Draft, request, and validate SOPs for assigned area to guarantee other team members are trained on documentation.
• Support the rest of the Maintenance Department during unplanned downtime (call in or phone call).
• Respond to radio calls in assigned area.
• Be available for remote support or on-site support outside of normal work schedule.
• Responsible to drive area task completion for reactive repairs and proactive work.
• Responsible for completion for all PMs in the assigned area.
• Identify PMs that need update to improve process.

Experience And Knowledge Required

• Suggest and request maintenance personnel skills development when required.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical code.
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
• 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
