Job summary

The Army National Guard recruits a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer to maintain and repair chemical decontamination equipment, quartermaster machinery, and related systems. Training covers marine engine maintenance, internal combustion engine theory, and use of hand and power tools.

You will complete Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and tuition assistance available as you begin your civilian career path in related industries.

Qualifications

  • Enlistment in the Army National Guard.
  • Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ages 17–35.
  • Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Responsibilities

  • Service internal combustion engine ignition, fuel, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Perform damage assessment and repair.
