Job summary

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Previous experience in construction, mining, or heavy equipment is helpful.
• Knowledge of OSHA & MSHA standards.
• Reliable transportation and PPE compliance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the extraction and processing of materials from the quarry.
• Operate basic quarry equipment such as loaders, drills, and crushers under supervision.
• Help with maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
• Assist in loading materials into trucks for transport.
• Perform tasks related to site safety, including ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain a high level of quality work at all times.
• Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner.
