The Quarry Manager will be responsible for overall management and coordination of the production and shipping activities for a 2 million ton per year Rip Rap and Construction Aggregate producing site. The individual must be able to assume responsibility of the manufacturing process to ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner and that prescribed product quality standards are maintained at the highest possible level. Additional focus on production planning, methods and control, budgeting and forecasting, pit development, maintenance, site planning, quality control and other related operations.
Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas. Protective equipment required for this position: Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hat, Eye protection, High Visibility Clothing, Respiratory Protection, and Safety (hard toe) Shoes.
Individuals must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations, using some combination of skills and abilities.
Ability to read and interpret documents, reports, and company manuals. Ability to write detailed correspondence, effectively present information, and be able to respond to questions from management, staff, customers and the general public.
