Job summary

PsiQuantum is building fault-tolerant, photonic quantum computers with entangled-state generation and full-stack simulations. We seek a physicist with strong software engineering to bridge quantum research and scalable development.

You will model entangled resource states with linear optics, contribute to simulation tooling, and collaborate across architecture, software, and optics teams in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physics, Math, CS or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of collaborative software engineering experience.
• Knowledge of quantum information and linear optics required; ZX calculus, tensor networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with domain experts to implement and simulate new methods for entangled resource states.
• Design, develop, and maintain tools for simulating full-stack quantum architectures.
• Profile simulation software and implement optimized computational techniques.
• Run simulation analyses, manage data, and communicate results.
• Ensure interoperability of simulation tools across projects and teams.
