Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science with experimental work on superconducting qubits and nanofabrication.
• Thorough understanding of superconducting qubit design theory.
• Experience in nanofabrication methods for superconducting qubits.
• Experience in wafer-level metrology (SEM, TEM, AFM, XPS).
• Proficiency in Python, Rust, TCL, or C; familiarity with FPGA-based microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute research projects in superconducting qubit design and nanofabrication from wafer level to device packaging.
• Collaborate with measurement teams to implement design and process changes for continuous improvement.
• Publish papers and present at conferences to stay current with industry trends.
• Develop detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
